Koyto April 15, 2016

It was a beautiful day in Kyoto, Japan. The country very clean, fresh and appears new although it is an ancient society.

In this group of pictures, you will notice orange shrines. They are called Shinto Shrines. Shinto is a religion in Japan and worships nature. The one here is a male Shinto Shrine.

The lucky color is orange. 50% of the country is Shinto, the other half Buddhist.

We had a usual Japanese lunch. It is served in a 'Bento Box'. It was delicious!
Bento boxes are like lunch boxes. You can buy them already made or make them yourself.
