favorite thing but before I do that I like to figure out my colors and stitches. Some stitches I invent and then have to remember what I did!
I make lots of hats, fingerless gloves, mittens and socks just to try out the colors and stitches. The resulting items are sold at our local country store or given as presents.
When I was making the cowl/hat above, I could't wait to finish - I found the perfect person for a gift. An elementary school teacher and my niece who has bus duty. Anyone who has ever had bus duty can relate to this!
I have a book full of patterns with hen scratching all over them - I am hoping when I go on my trip that someone can help me focus or at the very least make sense of the patterns. Ahhh well, it will be an adventure.

Hmmm I am thinking there is no peace until after elections, our telephones and communication devices will be jammed with 'this is just a short survey' - there ought to be a law prohibiting intensive poliitications and nonsense prior to 3 months before elections!!!
