As we prepare to leave on another leg of Route 1, Sara and Sammy Safety are finding their spots in the car. It is just 4 degrees, snowing and high winds but it is New England!
My plan is a section of US Route 1 from Baltimore, MD to Alexandria, VA, a space of few miles
but I have been told it is 5 hours of the worst traffic to be experienced. That from a couple who used to live in the area.
I am meeting my sister-in-law in Baltimore and we will head toward Alexandria, VA and our niece's place.
As I pack the car, I find that I have summer clothes, winter clothes, winter boots and generally anything I would need for winter and summer weather and everything in between! It has been a very cold New England this year.
